West leads the A. East plays the 6 (discouraging). West switches to the C5. East cashes the CAK and another club to South’s CQ. What is South’s plan?

This is a “discovery” hand.
Declarer has five top losers – two hearts, two clubs and the A.  The key on this hand is to find the ♠Q.  The clue is in the bidding.  Notice that West is a “passed hand” which means he has less than 12 HCP.  The lead of the A tells us that West also holds the K (A from AK) Once West shows up with the AK and East shows up with the ♣AK, it’s just a matter of who has the A to determine who doesn’t have the ♠Q!
After winning the ♣Q, South should lead out the K to find out who has the A.  Once Wests shows up with the Q, declarer now knows that West cannot hold the ♠Q.  A spade finesse through East’s hand is called a “Known Finesse.”
